History of The Spanish Wars of the Caribbean

 
The Spanish wars in the Caribbean and South America altered history for everyone in the region. It is not much known to those in Barbados and other Caribbean islands, which were forever changed by the Spanish occupation and the years of wars with the British, French, and Dutch.

Lots of native people were forced into slavery or eliminated during the wars, decimating whole neighbourhoods and cultures.
